Welcome to Waterfowl Addicts Anonymous. Our goals are simple – to share our love and knowledge of how to care for these precious birds. This is a judgment-free space where no question is a bad question, and nobody should ever feel embarrassed to ask for help. We believe in doing our research, learning from people who have hands-on experience caring for waterfowl, and putting the birds’ well-being first.
We’re primarily focused on waterfowl kept as pets, but we welcome homesteaders, too. Whether your birds are beloved family members or part of your homestead, they deserve lives filled with proper care, comfort, and kindness right up until their last day. We’re here to learn from one another, share what works, and help every waterfowl keeper give their birds the best life they can.
Stick around and check out our breed profiles, general care guides, resources for birds with disabilities, and information on illnesses and injuries. Looking to adopt or rehome birds, or have you found an injured wild bird? Check out our rescues and wildlife rehabilitators section. You can also contact us if you’d like to contribute pictures or information to our guides.
Have fun, and enjoy your stay with the flock!
